Weather changes cause headaches

Did you know that there are individuals out there that are like meteorological stations? They have the ability to announce weather changes days before they occur. And no, it has nothing to do with spirits. It has everything to do with changes in barometric pressure.
Denise noticed something peculiar about herself, something she experiences to this day. Whenever the rainy season is about to begin, she gets a headache. Two days later, it rains and the headache disappears. Her body is in sync with nature.
However, she feared to talk about this because she did not want superstitious people to inform her that she had been chosen by the spirits. It was not until she found out there are people out there like her who suffer headaches and migraines whenever a weather change is about to occur.
A study done by a group of researchers led by Dr. Galina Midlin of Jefferson Medical College Philadelphia ascertained that a rise in barometric pressure causes these headaches and migraines while a rise in temperatures also somewhat has the same effect.
Reuters in January 2010 run a story: It’s true: Humidity, rain linked to kids’ headaches where it points out research done by a team led by Dr. Mark Connelly of Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics in Kansas City, Missouri. This team also concluded that there are weather-sensitive individuals, individuals who get headaches when it rains.
No explanations have been forwarded yet but http://www.relieve-migraine-headache.com/barometric-pressure-headache points to changes in oxygen levels as a would-be cause for the headache. As the veins in the head expand and constrict to compensate for the changes, the result is a headache.
So, if you have been suffering in the same way, now you know that you are not “weird”.
